Dear BUP colleagues,
This is certainly a busy spring with many exciting opportunities both within the BUP and at our participating universities as you can read more about in this newsletter.
This is the last call to apply to attend 'Blue Horizon', the three-day solutions hacking event dedicated to developing future solutions for the blue economy. This event is a part of the Estonian BUP Presidency, and the BUP will cover the participation fee for up to 25 colleagues from BUP participating universities. The event takes place on 28-30 May and the deadline to apply is 31 March, read more on the BUP website.
Please note that the calls for applications and nominations to the BUP Mobility Grant and BUP PhD Award are still open.
We invite PhD students to apply to attend the BUP PhD Students Training 2025. The training aims to provide knowledge, skills and network opportunities to PhD students focusing on security and resilience in the Baltic Sea Region. Accepted students will receive mentoring and feedback on their thesis from an expert in the field, as well as participate in a research event – the BUP Symposium. The event takes place on 24-28 November and the deadline to apply is 30 May, read more on the BUP website.
