On 16 June 2026, the Faculty of Economics and Finance of the University of Białystok hosted the International Scientific Conference entitled “Conditions and Challenges of Local Development in Poland and Lithuania”, organised by the organised by the Division of Local Development and Spatial Management at the Faculty of Economics and Finance of the University of Białystok.
The event, aimed at exchanging knowledge and experience in the face of contemporary socio-economic challenges, brought together international guests from Lithuania — Vytautas Magnus University in Kaunas and Vilnius College — as well as from Ukraine — the National University of the State Tax Service of Ukraine.
The conference provided an excellent platform for integrating the academic community and building lasting, interdisciplinary research links. We would like to express our sincere thanks to all speakers and participants for their substantive discussions and active engagement.
